He called the company, who have now been taken over by someone else, they THINK that this model does require the extra ventilation. Hi, just had the gas fire serviced and I might need to buy a new one! As we were not left the installation instructions for our Sirocco 200 streamline 2 the engineer can't check if it needs extra ventilation - a bloody great hole in the outside wall (well a vent anyway).
